„I haven’t found anywhere in the world where I want to be all the time. The best of my life is moving. I look forward to going.” This is one of Sir Sean Connery’s most iconic quotes. Btw, RIP Sean Connery! 🙁
And King Solomon who wrote Ecclesiastes tells us that: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?”
As the Coronavirus will impact our lives in the foreseeable future, especially now that we are traveling less, we must get used to this new way of living, this new modus vivendi, but let’s never forget that life is not just following Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, not just about having most basic needs met, life is also about discovering, about ambiance, about traditions, about joie de vivre.
We just returned from a trip to the mountains, we discovered some country villages of a beauty hard to describe. In the region of Transylvania, right in the center of Romania, at an altitude of around 1300 meters there are many scattered mountain villages, in the middle of the Rucăr-Bran Pass, along European route E574.

Maybe you can’t enjoy anymore the perfect conditions with dedicated workspaces, high-speed internet, premium ergonomic chairs, fully equipped conference room, and complimentary coffee & water, but what if you stay in the safety of a small rural village in beautifully restored rooms & houses, savor delicious meals & wines in a cozy place and experience truly personalized hospitality?
We must be aware that we live differently than our ancestors. We live in hermetically. Inside. Fewer and fewer people feel the need/tend to leave their devices and truly enjoy nature and experience a real journey. And that is not ok.
Imagine what a break would be like getting outside ~ so good for your head, heart, and health. Hard to beat a run or walk at the beginning or end of the day to clear your head and move your body.
If you’re feeling frustrated that things have been ticking over, but not moving forwards how you’d like, don’t wait to feel energized and motivated before you took action, it is just not working. Make a change today. Start small. Baby steps can lead to big dreams becoming reality. Change your environment! Nothing changes if nothing changes!
Take a weekend off and see how good you’ll feel after. When you travel somewhere for the first time, you feel that you are doing something different, that you have never done before, even if you have already been to many places, now it is a new place, you discover new people, new things.
